Get the competitive edge in your practice!

Thai yoga massage is an effective and proven manual treatment that can correct physical imbalances, enhance performance, alleviate pain and facilitate ease of movement. It is a centuries old form of manual therapy that is characterized by yoga type stretches performed by a therapist on a patient, as well as stimulation of sen (accupressure) meridians.

The Thai Yoga massage training consists of two levels.

Level 1: Basic Training

This foundation course focuses on the yoga massage postures, done in the four traditional positions, along with pressing and tapotement techniques. Advanced yoga massage postures will also be covered. The four traditional positions are supine, prone, sidelying and sitting. This course is done over four consecutive weekends. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to perform a traditional Thai yoga session that is an hour long.

Level 2: Thai Accupressure

This intermediate course focuses on the sen lines, which are similar to the accupressure meridians of Chinese medicine. The sen lines are stimulated using palm and thumb applications. This course is done over four consecutive weekends and the student will learn the location of the sen lines, their uses and the techniques to stimulate them. The sen techniques are integrated into the level 1 routine, for a tradtional Thai yoga session that is 1.5-2 hours long.
